Cengiz Holding Turns Its Attention to Southeast Asia... It is to Participate in Ninoy Aquino International Airport

Cengiz Holding, which is involved in the construction of many airports in Turkey, has now turned its attention to Southeast Asia. Cengiz Holding will participate in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, which is known as the worst airport in Asia-Pacific. 

Cengiz Holding, which stands out with its construction tenders in Turkey, has turned its route to the Philippines, the farthest corner of Asia. Cengiz Holding is preparing to bid for the most important airport project in the Philippines, one of the most populous countries in Southeast Asia. Cengiz Holding, which has carried out projects in Central Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, will shows presence in the Pacific region of Asia for the first time.  The project Cengiz Holding is interested in is Ninoy Aquino International Airport, one of the oldest airports in the country, which hosts 35 million passengers a year.  The Philippines Ministry of Transport has decided to participate in the project worth 170 billion Philippine Pesos, approximately 300 million dollars.

THE WORST IN ASIA-PACIFIC

Named after former Philippine Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr. who was assassinated at the airport on 21 August 1983, the airport has been in operation since 1948. The airport, which is the gateway of the capital Manila to the world, is known as one of the worst airports in Asia-Pacific. Cengiz Holding, which built Istanbul's New Airport, was also involved in the Kuwait and Erbil Airports project. This will be Cengiz Holding's third airport project abroad.
